The ‘School Age Classroom’, is designed specifically for students in grades K-4.
Our School-Age Classroom is designed to support children who are not returning to a traditional classroom/school day due to COVID-19.
As most schools are continuing with online learning programs in the Fall, Kids Corner recognizes that not every parent can accommodate a home school environment and will need support to continue their child’s education while they return to work. This program is for those families.
Through the School-Aged program, Kids Corner Learning Center will provide a safe and supervised space for children to attend while parents are called back to work. Teachers will provide in-person supervised study support, one-on-one time to ensure an understanding of the work assigned by their schools. While maintaining social distancing standards recommended by the CDC, local governments and school boards, our School-Aged program helps maintain a positive learning environment, and the opportunity to socialize as they learn and work together.

How we're helping:
The daily schedule is from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm with appropriate breaks in between. During this time children will have roughly two hours, twice a day (an AM session and PM session), of homeroom time as well as an hour of planned group project time.
In our group time, we work on group assignments, explore science, culinary, study history, and much more while maintaining social distancing guidelines. This time allows us to offer the specialized opportunities that students need to reach their potential while doing so in a more familiar school environment.
From 9:30-11:30 am and 1:00-3:00 pm our students have supervised homework time, computer time, one on one time, and daily assignment time.
Pick up (or log off) is allowed after 3:00 pm however, we encourage pick-up at 4:00 pm so students can participate in afternoon group time.
